  1. Before cell phones nobody cared or felt like they were missing out on anything cause they were perfectly fine without them for at least 50 or so years

  2. For some reason I can imagine that being thicker but maybe it was because I was a kid when I held it but it looks so skinny that's why I didn't want to buy a reproduction when they came out I was trying to find the thicker earlier model

  3. gotta say that I’m impressed the tech, and the speed which tech advances is absolutely incredible. Just think about the fact that we now have full in DSLR’s in our phones. Processors millions of times as powerful that took a man to the moon. And audio equipment in our ears and encoders that sounds better than studio equipment in the 70s and 80s. This is absolutely incredible how far we’ve come.
I would like to say a big thank you to all of the engineers and electricians and physicists that made us this beautiful technology that we use everyday.

  4. Point of Accelerating Returns.

    – this theory shows the leap we have made in the timeline from then to know, will be twice as much of a leap from now till there same amount of time in the future. GET READY ITS GONNA BE WILD!! 2040

  5. I still have my first cell phone at my house it was the Motorola razr v2 and I was like the coolest kid in grade 7 having it because no one even had a cell phone and those who did was a Nokia brick lol I loved that phone so much I still use it’s stock ringtone on any phone I get lol

  6. You all shoulda showcased the Nokia NGage, I still have it and I still think it was the coolest phone ever. It was like a Nintendo DS with the DS game cards and a phone. So nostalgic!

  7. the star tac was the coolest phone at the time, it was one of the smallest and most compact phones and the first flip phone that kick started the trend of the flip phones, it's only the rainbow colour that made it look like a toy, but it's super dope, it deserves it's own dedicated video on retrotec in my opinion
