  1. So wait, do people actually spend $250 to replace one HDMI cable with another HDMI cable, a box, a transmitter, and another power cord? In fact, the receiver probably needs power, too.
    Seems like an over complication lol.

  3. If you have several cable boxes, this HDMI transceiver could help you eliminate one. Let's see… that would be a reduction of $8.00 per cable box (Spectrum) per month. That would take just over 31 months to start saving money.

  4. Oof! Still $250 after nearly 3 years? Surely there's something on the market by now that can put out a decent signal for under $100. And all I wanna do is leave my laptop in one spot and be able to use it at the desk for work and on the couch with the TV for fun. I don't need wireless HDMi gaming.
