15. Oh, how I long to be one of the coveted First 1000 commenters. When it comes to horror, Lovecraft will always be one of my favorites and I rarely turn down a game based upon that universe. I will definitely be getting this. Thanks for being o e of the best review platforms out there

17. From a cursory glance I feel this game has a tangentially similar theme and/or aesthetic to that love death robots episode where the fish come out in the desert at night. And I cannot wait to try it.

19. After visiting the The Whalers Cabin museum near Carmel-by-the-Sea in California, I always felt that whaling would make for a great horror/item management/ lovecraftian game of some kind. All the interesting shaped harpoons and the process of getting blubber and oil would make for interesting item management. So here's hoping Dredge will inspire some more lovecraftian fishing games, so maybe someday, we can get that triple AAA Lovecraftian Fisherman Red Dead Redemption game, I’ve always dreamed of.
