  1. Beats have turned to shit since being bought out by Apple, same goes for Shazam, and whatever happened to that classical music streaming algorithm service, can't remember its name but Cnet covered it a while ago, and nothing happened with it yet, I don't like seeing companies usurp others' innovation like this, compete with it and make your own thing better, instead of literally buying the opposition and in a lot of these cases doing nothing with it, killing the whole field of competition just for the hell of it.

  2. If you are really interested in VR and really want to see what is already out there (and I believe not a single company would be able to achieve similar experience in a long time from now) just check out NeosVR (PCVR only).

  3. I think it'll be great for productivity. . .products like the Nreal air allow me to have several monitors in my tiny room instead of buying a big setup. . .i'd be willing to bet apple is going to hit this market

  4. If they really do release this, its possible Dave's right. Its time for another iphone/macbook air level jawdropping product launch to keep up their reputation cuz its been declining recently as with every other tech giant.

  5. if they are making one it will most likely be for movies i honestly don't see anyone caring about a video chat feature when whatsapp or whatever people use nowadays is much easier faster and FREE, and you don't have to wear something on your head. 3D content in VR is actually really cool, and maybe they're working on movies/tv shows that are fully 3D and you can walk inside the movie itself maybe even take control of certain aspects kinda like those sony interactive movie games. but for gaming gaming forget about it apple will never be able to make proper video games let alone vr games. they did invest in microled hopefully that tech is much further in development than people previously thought.
