  1. I used to own a BMW m4 and a 750li,but I probably will never buy another car from bmw, since in the past few years they desgined some of the ugliest cars in auto mobile history.

  2. This seems like an incredible car, I’m not disputing that. However… I really don’t like BMW’s idea of a “luxury” aesthetic. All of that crystal and the mean lines on the screens look tacky to me, and the interface really just feels like a cheap attempt at being fancy — and don’t get me started on that massive screen for the rear seats that looks so out of place and clunky with the Fire Stick UI. I also feel like capacitive buttons have no place in cars, especially when cheaper/older cars with physical buttons are more user-friendly and safer by a long shot. But then again, I’m not the target market (rich snob) for a BMW. If I could afford this car I wouldn’t buy it. Really cool to see though!

The latter portions of this video change my opinion from “unnecessary and cringy” to “should be illegal.” How do these newer EVs get away with this? It makes me want to give extra space on the road to every EV owner, assuming they have near-instant torque and countless distractions when most drivers can’t even handle a standard/cheap gas car. Tesla set this dangerous standard and now everyone is pushing the limit for how much cars can be tech first and safety last. Something needs to change.

  3. Honestly @mkbhd couple things about this car:
    PRO's:
    1. excellent craftsmanship and build quality.
    2. kudos to trying to bash in lot of tech in the car.
    3. Great luxury ride experience.

    CONS:
    1. Dated design , dated material and finish choices by BMW.( glossy finish, cloth everywhere, tacky buttons) It's gonna look old in 2 years.
    2. Too much technology and all squarish screens look very stock and common looking.
    3. Horrible design language and very un-bmw ish.
    4. No powertrain technology that helps making this efficient or long range.

  4. I had the previous generation M7 and it was my favorite car I've ever owned even though he was in the service department every other month just like other BMWs I owned and it's never a huge problem like the engine or something. It's always something stupid like one time my seven series was in the shop for 2 months because one of the side cameras was malfunctioning and they couldn't figure it out. Even though they gave me Laura cars. It's still sucked a little bit but BMW is a great cars. Hopefully they can figure out the kinks

  5. I actually like the front. It is classy (just like a RR) unique (dual and Crystal lights), well build and there is a lot happening within the space of a rain drop.

  6. 15:30 “this car has a screen in the back, that’s something I’ve never seen before”

Mans must be JUST too young to have lived through the minivan heyday, Honda Odysseys and Dodge Grand Caravans are turning over in their graves

  7. omg the most useless car ever! sorry Marquees to say this is great ca is totally wrong!! Just the fact when you got out of the driver seat and had to lean in and push the button on the dash to close the door would be enough for me not to want it!
the double material seats are ugly and cheap looking.
the voice assistant seemed to take a whole to respond as well.
the usbC charger in the back of the front seat is a stupid location.

etc etc so many things are ugly looking, not practical or not functional (lounge mode blocking the drivers view) – this car is just combination of random stuff put together and doesnt function as a one unit = big no for me

  8. BRO, KEEP MAKING YOUR MONEY EMBRACE WHO YOU ARE WITH YOUR OWN STYLE, NOT COPYING ANYONE ELSE. WHEN HATERS HATE? YOU DOING A GOOD JOB..KEEP MAKING HAPPEN WITH WISDOM.

  9. Whoever designs their software UI is stuck in 2008 Android it’s hilarious. It’s some windows vista looking shit. And that AR mode is running at 9fps or something. So stupid. How have these manufacturers not figured this out yet?

  10. I respect your commentary MKB, however until these manufacturers start embedding the screen/infotainment system into the dashboard seamlessly, I refuse to get any of those vehicles.
Mercedes EQS has done a phenomenal job, showing that it's not an after thought.
