  1. Walking around with these goggles; I suspect they we have facial recognition and show the names of people walking by –at first it will only identify people in your contact list then…

  2. 75% of people already cannot imagine an apple, or have any internal monologue. I would prefer them on their couch wearing nerd goggles. Terminally online. So they aren't shitting up my experience when I go for a walk.

  3. I can't argue that phones suck but imagine watching a movie while being fully immersed inside of it. That alone would be an experience worth $3500. I can also watch Matt Walsh on the side if I wanted.

  4. This would be great for hospitals and not just pediatrics. Also for rehabilitation and people with certain disabilities. Its just to expensive. None of this will get the device. For old people, I do see practical uses for it.

  5. There is no point in talking about this because its going to happen no matter what people here think since there are too many people who will buy this.

  6. А ты забавный

Совсем недалеко от истины ушёл, всё в этому и идёт – заменить наш интеллект на искусственный и кормить биомассой через вены

  7. Matt, I’ve been a longtime sub and love your vids, BUT I think you missed the mark with this one. The argument that “these nerd goggles look stupid” is a lame argument because there are a lot of things that people thought were stupid and pointless that are now everyday items. I understand the security issues, and that is a legitimate issue that we’ll see what happens.
They also don’t get rid of reality, they supplement it. Not saying that reality, outside, and family aren’t important. You can sit courtside at a sports game or watch movies in a huge theater. You also won’t have to pay the same price as you would to actually be courtside, or at a concert, or any other experience. I think these VR AR waters need to be treaded carefully, but I don’t think we need to just throw it all out of the window. I say all this respectfully, and as someone who loves almost all of your other content. #SweetBabyGang

  8. I hate to break it to you Matt. Every iPhone 13 and above is equipped with a LiDAR Scanner that can definitely and probably already has made a completely accurate scan of your entire house. It’s the black circle under the camera. Probably your office too if you do have an iPhone

  9. It's a whole lotta hype for nothing, a non-starter. Google Glasses didn't go very far and neither will this. Though, I am usually disappointed with fellow conservatives when it comes to technology. Technology genuinely seems to concern conservatives. Actually, it seems to downright frighten them. Booga-booga, it's the boogeyman!!

  10. I think it’s disturbing to throw your life away laying around living in a screen. I think it’s gone far now.I’m already thinking about getting rid of my phone too. Go back to a landline and answering machine. I recently went back to using paper maps and remembering where I gotta get too without gps. I miss the days before social media got here.

  11. If you have seen modern clothing, you know that vanity is much weaker than conformity. If these and handed down on high as expected devices, likely though work first, they will become the norm no matter how ridiculous they look.

  12. The vision pro goggles might be convenient technologically but they are a really fast way to dull the human senses. It's basically applying to be temporarily blind for a period of time. We all know there's a moron out there that will use them for an extended period of time. This is going to isolate them from society even further. People won't have face to face interactions. Social skills are dying more and more. We're creating a new generation of socially awkward weirdos. If you want a trailer of where society is heading with this. Watch Black Mirror or Ready Player One.
