  1. PREDICTIONS:

    – AEW fanboys will love it.

    – WWF No Mercy fans will enjoy the nostalgia.

    – Simulation seekers will have some fun with it but ultimately get burned out.

    – Mini games will be meh at best. Not sure why those were a thing added to a wrestling game outside of 'hey lets try out the mini games' when you have friends over during initial release.

    – People will complain about yet another game loaded with microtransactions.

Obviously it'll ultimately come down to actual gameplay, smoothness, controls, and what bugs people run into for the final take.

  2. i hope this doesn’t end up like tna impact and we only get one game from the brand lol 😅 if they make another aew game hopefully they pack in more match types and just overall more content 🤘🏾

  3. First time I pre ordered a wrestling game I’m fully supporting the old school no mercy fight engine and can’t wait! It’s been a long ass time!

  4. Looks not too different visually from SmackdownVSRaw2010 on xbox360 that I played last …. didn't graphics get better in the last 14 years? but if it is anything like no-mercy/ wcw-nwo-revenge than it's going to be fun! I remember playing that on a friend's n64 many years ago.

  5. Honestly? I think the game sounds good. maybe I am a little spoiled but I would of loved a GM mode in this game. But because of how AEW is (ATM of course) would be hard. I just like being able to tell a story. it's why I love Universe Mode. Telling a story in my head. It makes the games last longer. However I may end up grabbing this game later down the line with a price drop.

Though that Road to Elite sounds very interesting.

  6. I preordered the Elite Edition for my Series X. I was torn between the PS5 version vs the Series X, so I ended up going with Microsoft because it was about $15 cheaper with the discount and credit back.

  7. How does 1 order the elite physical edition in UK? There seems to be no mention of it in the Amazon and Game preorders? Just seems to be the standard edition.

  8. I was legitimately hoping for crossplay; it was the one selling point for me, 'cause frankly I was tired over the 2K games not having it for years, and sharing cross-platform creations felt like baby steps in the right direction. It was the selling point for me and what set it apart. No crossplay, no money, and this coming from me who got into AEW a few years ago and has been loving it since.

Maybe I'll cool down and get the game at a later date but again, the crossplay was my "This is the one, guys, finally, something we could everyone involved in on the server and have some fun with" but now it's just the same ol' sh*t.

  9. I'm looking forward to them adding more costumes/models , stages, and wrestlers over time.woukd be cool to have a Jacksonville specific looking arena and the up to date appearance added over time.
