  1. Saint Internet.

So like I think I kinda figure out that like web3 and like it was indeed geopolitics. And like yeah it was really difficult to understand the productization of consumer tech, particularly because its mostly men who have access and afford and have social capital to be a tech person. And like if people were just always going to look at your phone because thats where the information is to get to where you need to go, okay that's where you have to look for data but people live in society not like box. Its really said that there are so many people in NY in education and guys were the discussion s about areas that people study and research. Like yeah there's like how does the post office work and its data points which isn't exciting but like is a skill. Like how does traffic work and new construction to make another road. Le sigh oh god if we had to talk about government. We can't not be cool on YouTube. Would it really be that much to know about how many different construction projects going in your neighborhood and who to follow up with.

So like yeah it is important to read probably more than ever because like even speaking is an marketing and nobody actually talks about the level of how everything is programmed and like the hierarchy.

In any case, maybe people should read more. Maybe people learn how to make something. Maybe talk to someone who is smarter than you. Someone deconstruct the parasocial complex and podcast complex and video game complex.

Yeah tell kids to read a book. I'm old and tired but Im childless but like maybe cable news was on to something like Linsay Davis on Sunday nights who wrote a children's book on how high is heaven. Cause like I really dont expect a yotuber to report on war, covid, ethics of space, manufacturing, technology inequality, economics, things that take experts for one youtubers. Cause yeah maybe it was cool to see stuff move on a computer screen but like how do break language. Maybe write it down. Read a book.

  2. I love watching/listening to you guys! Waveform makes me feel like I'm hanging out with my cool tech friends again. Brings me back to when I worked at the Apple store back in 2011. Great memories 🙂

  3. I would call the show “Things that I would buy to get noticed”. Reminds me in the early 2000’s, when I bought my 20 inch Dell laptop, 4k in like 2006. I was staying at this nice hotel and one of the engineers had the 17 inch MacBook, beautiful machine, but my 20 inch Dell laptop was the star of the show, everywhere, at Panera’s, the hotel bar/club and even at the airports, all the customs and security would have to come and see it. I’m a Mac fanboy, 14 pro max, MacBook Pro’s, IPad Pro’s, Ultra Watches, etc. This origami type, 2 screen laptop would get notice anywhere in a sea of Macs. I still use a Surface laptop Studio now because of work. Please don’t lose your impartiality and wonder from when you first started. Love your work, never a dull moment.

  4. There is only 1 tent mode use case: Laptop on a coffee table or on the plane tray, and you want the screen slightly closer to you. You can go into tent mode and pull the screen closer to your face. I have done this many times. I also ruined my eyes in the process.
Otherwise, that hinge doesn’t go past ~120 degrees

  5. Netflix has games inside the app in the US?
Here in India there are Netflix games, wherein I can download games and sign in with my Netflix account, and play the game without any ads with regular in game progress. The game selection isn't huge, but there are some epic ones like the Ninja Turtles game

  6. I have one of those Lenovo yoga laptops. The keyboard was faulty since new and ended up buying a separate keyboard then ONLY use it in tent or the other mode where it rests on the keyboard. Now I'm so used to having it so close for touch and I have a second (larger) monitor for main things.

  7. I bought an Acer Chromebook Spin 714 specifically because it has a 360 hinge. Use it in tent mode every time I'm in the office to watch videos or do personal stuff with a bluetooth mouse and keyboard that have multi device support.

  8. This has become unbearable to listen to. Every week David sounds more like a Valley girl. Am I watching Kardashians or a tech podcast?

  9. I have a chromebook that I use to watch live TV through Hulu. I tent it to give it a smaller footprint and can set it up on narrow shelves etc. Tent has some purpose, not a lot

  10. 18:43 is pretty much what i love about death stranding. Its not multiplayer, but when someone helps you finish a road, donates gear to you, or you find that rope you need to get off the cliff, I know I'm not alone. Other people are playing the game with me. It's probably the only game that i don't desire a co-op mode in

  11. YES!!! David replacing andrew is definitely what we need. Keep andrew lost in whatever airport hes at. WE WISH ANDREW THE BEST IN HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

  12. Lenovo: Hey! Dude! You have one week to develop a laptop with two screen like this!

Product Developer: WTF! Who gonna use this thing!?

    Lenovo: :)…….

  13. 7:47 no one buys it for rent mode but the 360° laptops come in handy for movies when you don’t have a laptop’s width of space

  14. I definitely love my pixel fold The battery life I thought was going to be horrible but it seems to last me all day. I'm really enjoying this experience. It's my first folding phone and I'm really nervous since I'm a electrician and I get dusty and metal shavings all over me which I almost had a bad experience with the metal shavings when I got lodged in my phone. Thankfully it was on the outside of the screen on the magnet . So I guess the big bezel saved me

  15. If that Lenovo was an Apple product we would have had a whole different conversation on how great it is… Apple can give you guys a keyboard and a 50-in screen with a handle on it to carry and it'll be no complaints😂😂
