  1. For the amount of time and money Ubisoft has invested in this game, it should basically look like Red Dead 2 but with pirates… And it's not even close to anything like that, or anything even interesting.

  2. Guess this makes sense why they announced a Black Flag remake. I'm fully expecting them to phone it in and not give a lot of fanfare for this game to get the singapore government off they're back and just move quickly to the BF remake.

  3. The ship speed and movement is ridiculous, clearly the sails have no use. Definitely can see elements and reskin menus from farcry 6 also. Was really looking forward to an open world pirate game, looks like we are waiting longer.

  4. so this is more of a spiritual successor to psygnosis' overboard than it is to ubisoft's AC black flag, can't explore islands, or dive for treasure, or hunt for whales and sharks on a boat. the entire game is spent on your ship, even when buying supplies or cutting down trees for wood, even boarding a ship is just a cutscene, you fuggin' kidding me?

  5. IGN drinking the cool aid again, not once did you see the captain board the enemy ships nor did the captain we on an island to look for resources lol
