  1. Hi, do you have restrictions like no fly zones etc? Ive seen you making videos around Tauranga, but lots of the area is restricted due to the airport. How do you get around this? The condor and swellpro seem to be able to fly along papamoa beach where the phantom 3 does not let you. I had a phantom 3 and i could only far at the far end of pap east.

  2. Dont buy dji, and do not use DJI of any sort for fishing. My mavic 3 cine had software glitch, plummeted into ocean, line broke, 5k drone gone, DJI is not taking responsibility, blaming pilot error, they stated "its not allowed to carry any weight with it" i carried less than 100 grams of weight, some how drone thought i was on land and black box data showed it forced landing, but it didnt show on my rc controller any forced landing, it just changed its flight into vertical trajectory and spirallled down into the ocean.

Dji response "We consulted our engineer, he told us that the aircraft added foreign objects at this flight, which could affect the Ultrasonic, it was active all the time and has a small value even when the aircraft reaches high altitudes. The aircraft will recognize it is still on the ground, the TOF height was 0m, after the pilot pulled down the throttle stick, Near Ground Landing was triggered and the aircraft landed to the water in the end" Which is not true, my rc controller didnt gave me any alarms for forced landing and ive flown my drone many times before, at many different places and used for fishing before, it did not land in water, it literally changed trajectory into vertical position and spiralled down rotating into ocean

  3. Great video. This was an excellent real life demonstration/comparison. I added your video to my 2023 Phantom Fliers playlist, and will be curating content from phantom pilots world wide still using the platform in 2023. Best regards to you this year!🧭🧭🧭🧭🧭🧭

  4. Ive got a Phantom 2 with a servo dropper installed and it is a fishing machine. No phone apps necessary. It carries a 4oz sinker and 6 baits on a longline.

  6. I have had a Condor for a couple of years. I never felt I needed a camera. It can go out 1km so why need a camera? I don't need to send it out that far either. It can go beyond 1km (1500m) and it will auto-return at that point. I just tried it at the start – LOL. Have caught a lot of good fish on it – every time actually since after the first test day. No regrets. 1 battery will do 4-5 casts of 400-600m no problem. 2 batteries will get you hours of fishing – so I always run out of energy before they do. The new version has an added 'button release' option than the 'tension release' also.

  7. Bro, can i know, for phantom 3 standard, its easy for finding spare part if the drone crash or damage? Cause this drone is old drone, worried about the spare part. Tq if your can reply😊

  8. awesome vid Mark! we need to compare my Mavic Air 2 to the Phantom haha. I know it can take 800g weight as I tested it 😅👌. there is a cheaper splash FD1 that's waterproof tho it's around $1700 I think just no camera (I decided on the Mavic Air 2 as wanted a camera).
also agree catching a drone is scary! I've personally sliced my fingers multiple times now 🤣😐

  9. Used to use my phantom 3 advanced to fish. ( second hand). Now I am using my mavic pro with a skyclip with pre made trace rig. The advantage is I use my mavic for videography/ photos as well, so dual purpose. Thanks for the comparison. I'm heading out tomorrow but weather doesn't look too good up in Auckland in the morning.
