  1. Actually. Before android. And early days of windows mobile, the rom was axtult installed on ROM.
The Rom would be partitioned with a second Ram part. All OS files where static on rom.
    Amsterdam.
    Rop Gongrijp started XDA

  2. You guys completely overlooked that the epic vs apple lawsuit STARTED when it was leaked that amazon was paying 15% vs the standard 30% in the apple store. They now have claimed that this is no longer what they do and that apps under a certain revenue pay less. No idea how you guys misremembered this. It is critical to the epic vs stories.

  3. Earlier this year I was asked to write a bio/introduction for myself at a new job and I had chatGTP do it for me on the Bing app. I gave it my name and hobbies that I like and a few sentences that I told it to format in a professional way. It worked perfectly and nobody questioned it. Not a huge ask but it was super practical.

  4. With the Vision Pro, the Apple Maps street view would probably work very well, then. Since it has a natural parallax effect and it'll look like you're really there. I wonder if they'll allow for user submissions for Apple Maps Street View (probably not).

  5. What if someone points the ai pin or meta glasses towards a 10 metres high heap of almonds and asks about protein content? It doesn't know the quantity of the almonds lying. This is probably also true if i fill my fist full of almonds and ask the same. Then how is ai pin guessing the protein content?? Any explanation?

  6. What do you mean the photo sphere got cancelled i just used it on my 7 pro before the recent ui update it was in the more section it was never removed from the default camera app i use it a bunch and while its not perfect i get a lot of great reactions from it

  7. 1:00:00 As a gamer, I'm glad that all my friends are on Discord, even my friends that I meet up with IRL. Discord sucks for a lot of reasons, but it's still just way better than anything that texting offers.

  8. 50:05 I mean, all restaurants with 20 or more locations are required by the FDA to provide nutritional information for their menu, so for instances where you eat at chain restaurants, it will be pretty much exact.

  9. 20:30 Google Maps also has the timeline feature which keeps a detailed log of where you go and what kind of transportation you use to get there. Definitely dystopian, but also useful… 😅

  10. tbh didn't miss Andrew, he doesn't bring nearly as much knowledge as the other hosts and the producers, always is saying "oh I didn't know that" or "I thought it worked like this.." just to be wrong. Seems like a nice guy but just noticed that trend where he can't contribute as much.

  11. David was saying that only the Google Play Store made special deals with certain apps like Netflix and not the App Store but I'm pretty certain Apple also did that

  12. hey remember when these feminine dudes were confidently saying "ehhhhhhhhh, WRONG, cybertruck will not see 25 deliveries this year?"
well these girls lost the bet.
so much for knowing anything about anything, they didnt even follow the news nor saw any of the piles of castings.

  13. I think you guys missed a big part of the anti-competitive nature of what Google was doing with the Play Store. The discounts to the larger players were often efforts to discourage them from distributing on other platforms, or launching their own app stores. There were smoking-gun emails that confirmed this intention.

  14. Why does this channel play notification/bing/chime sound effect in response to some bits they joke about? Like, how is that at all useful to the listeners? 😅 I get its for humor, but still, every time you think there's some app/program you just installed notifying you about something. 😑

  15. The YouTube Music podcast player is actually pretty lit, you can cross comment from it and see the video feed and everything. You can also access timestamps, and it helps you keep your YouTube consumption habits under control if you have it on a timer but don't want to count podcasts.
