😂😂 literally sounds like they are describing Outlook there for a while. Email, To-Do, and calendar all-in-one. I've historically hated Outlook but in just the last 3 years they have really re-defined the entire suite.
@rossmanngroup this is the same thing that louis rossman talked about in one of his recent videos about network carriers as well. How they allow you to sign up online in seconds but give you hell on earth to cancel your subscriptions.
On the subject of HDR content in Instagram I agree. However ever since I experienced it on my Pixel 8 Pro with photos and videos I have to say it looks amazing. It adds a layer of realism to pictures and videos. For example, I recently took a picture of my car with the headlights on during the day. The way it's displayed on screen makes the headlights much brighter and way more realistic. Same thing with a recent video at night while BBQing. The flames looked incredible in the video.
I think it's a matter of implementation that's holding it back. In Instagram, HDR video looks bad as it seems to brighten the entire video and not just the highlights (or things that should be that bright in the video). In Google Photos I think it looks amazing.

I’m also a calendar and todo app obsessive, yet I almost never try to replace Google Calendar. I have everything color coded and organized there and I actually like how it looks. And I am definitely the sort of person who makes an all day event for something. Like I’ll set a recurring all day event until a show that comes out weekly like True Detective has finished. Or I’ll set an event for a book I’m looking forward to that comes out on a certain day. And I always stay in the month view because I can see everything going on from a high level. The color coding for each event time is really key. But I do not do anything work related in Google Calendar—all of that is in Outlook. I can imagine having both of these things together would get very messy. But for everything outside of work, I feel like I have a great system.

Here's my view on the Pixel 9 camera bar redesign: it will be good for Pixel visibility in the wild because most people use cases. Case manufacturers didn't know how to handle the camera bar, so they all designed the cutout differently. This will help unify the designs which will in turn make it more recognizable.
I wish all cases left the visor completely uncovered but almost none do.

Where i am from… you can only sign up for gym physically. I have not tried cancelling a gym membership. Let's see how difficult it would be to cancel. I was told a one month notice is required for cancellation. But that NJ law is great for consumers.

I hate hdr and ultra hdr on images, ok for video. You don’t want/view printed images with the highlights blown out. Plus the Pixel 8 Pro lag in loading them in the gallery is laughable….so happy to have returned mine. Apple doesn’t do this thank god and you can turn hdr off which you can’t in the pixel camera. Pixel has been getting worse and worse
