  1. OK, here’s my comment on these trucks. I don’t own any of them but I know one thing: I like a vehicle that can last a long time, not a life time, but a long time. With these trucks, we are always going back to one subject: how long will the battery last and how much it costs to replace them? I own a 22 years old car that I just love for summertime only. Could I buy a Cybertruck and keep it for a couple decades without having the junk it or replace the battery with a new one that costs more than the residual value of the truck itself? I think I am definitely not the targeted client base.

  2. Commenting right at the start and I'll see how much holds up by the end of this video…

📐 is a technically impressive vehicle that feels like the pinnacle of Tesla but also under-baked compared to their more mature vehicles and its competition
📐 is a very unique looking vehicle. Read into that how you will.
📐 isn't a solid buy… yet. It may become one with some updates, though

  3. Thanks for the info. I just bought a 2012 Nissan Frontier for $8k. It was a close race. Very hard decision. 😂
Seriously though… Who can afford to buy a new vehicle? Are there really THAT many people in America that make enough money to buy a new vehicle?

  4. 10:23 I learned today that if you quickly tap the side windows five times on the screen, the windows "break" and have the audio of when the truck was first shown on stage when getting hit was a steel ball.

  5. Why would you install the accessory battery inside the truck, you have a truck, tow it behind the truck. Battery trailers might make more sense, simply considering installation. That and a battery trailer would be completely agnostic to the model of car you have. Anyone could make one.

  6. I've seen two in person now, it does look nicer in person. I got a '24 Model 3 and am a fan of Tesla but I would opt for a R1T if I wanted a pickup.

  7. This gap is a defect, I mean, it looks like old cars from the 70s when the doors were too heavy that they were sinking slowly. We had to hold the handle up to be able to close them!

  8. Best CT review, covered it all. I just got my "Your Limited-Edition Foundation Series Cybertruck is Ready to Order" email from Tesla… 🤪

  9. I just got my configurator for the cybertruck and got an R1S while I was waiting. Because they didn't have the bench seating up front I decided against going for the cybertruck but love its looks.

  10. Tesla Cybertruck is equivalent to raggedy azz $150 jeans and those whom wear them have No style just followers to be consider A somebody.
I'm so glad when Sodom, Egypt falls already!

  11. The fact that they are still having panel gap problems after all this time is just insane. They apparently already have the ability to fix things, probably through adjustment screws hidden somewhere. Why don't they just put a few people at the end of their production lines that check everything and fix it? Is this them wanting to find a way to automate it but failing to do so? For real, they have so much money, this is a thing they could easily pay a few bucks for.

  12. I think it’s pretty telling how Tesla seems to view the truck bed as a kind of expansion port (for extra battery capacity or optional spare tire) rather than a… truck bed. A pickup truck fundamentally exists to do work. This one seems to exist fundamentally for itself.

  13. Ive seen russian ladas with better panel fit than that. Also why call it a truck when its hauling capabilietes are worse than japaneese kei vans? Must be an american thing.

  14. I like the aesthetic but I dont see the practicality of the truck. You metioned how you don't feel any bumps on the truck which makes me think that its designed is flawed only for it to be costly repaired in the future. Not sure how a vertical windshielf wiper would be effective long term (more costly repairs). I worry about its saftey due to having a rectangular steering (we are not F1 drivers). Rust showing for a car that isn't even that old is really a shame.
On the positive, it looks like a since fair project that most big companies can look at and improve on for the following years to come.

  15. The extended battery on the cybertruck will actually be really competative against the only other legitimately long range and tow capable ev truck on the market, the big battery version of the silverado ev.

And honestly, since that truck is $60k just for the base work truck, if i was getting an ev for towing, i would probably get the cybertruck dual motor with the extended pack. The cyberbeast is extremely impressive and would tow like a beast, but the disk motor already pulls really well and if im taking a decent range hit some towing, its not worth the extra money.
