3. I already had the Neo, The flip with RC 2 will be the next one , cause the RC 2 can be used for Neo too..

4. Nobody talks about the internal storage here: 22GB for the Neo and only 2GB for the Flip.
   Does the Flip have a memory card option? Did I miss something?

7. I have both. Like them both. Flip can zoom in and has a 3 axis gimbal. Probably a bit better in the wind to IMO

9. I love dji neo but i still don’t get myself to get one mainly because most of the time i will use the drone will be on my canoe touring adventures and as it stands the dji neo or flip does not fly well over water

10. Neo with RC2 controller is the coolest spy toy ever! The tiny size makes it much less noticeable in the air and mucu less threatening to onlookers. I've flown mine for almost 300km around busy shopping malls and no one ever complains. Only the kids notice and look up but the adults seem to be blind and deaf.

    It's so un-threatening that I can fly circles 3ft away around a deer. I can get right into their faces and they hardly even react. Feral cats love to follow the Neo around. They probably think it's dinner.

    It's very solid and strong, being so small.. and so inexpensive that I'm not even worried. The shot is what counts and I feel safe to risk flying close to animals and in tight spaces.

    It has some pretty advanced on-board sensors, gps, AI vision which makes it so much more than a toy. I love the Neo.

15. As a novice I’ll start with the neo. I’ll upgrade to mini 3 or 4 if/when I get more serious. Great that the accessories are compatible!

17. It would make sense if it was $200 cheaper (up here it's $600+) and quiet enough to be a virtual camera man. Otherwise you might as well spend the extra $$ and get the mini 4 pro which is far better value for money

19. tbh the video quality is meh on both. Flip is just less awful. The dynamic range is terrible. The black shirts on people look like a portal to darkness

20. We have a DJI mini I don´t see the point in having a Flip. Neo is much cheaper can do fpv and we can use our other controllers…

21. You forgot to mention the Flip has forward sensors to avoid obstacles, that's a huge improvement

22. Honestly, Flip doesn't make any damn sense, besides a cheap flying Mini 4 Pro camera. Folding design makes no sense whatsoever. It is bulky, far bulkier than the X1 Pro/Max, it doesn't fly well, more unstable than any Mini drone (even the Mavic Mini), it makes as much noise as the Neo, it looks VERY fragile with lots of moving parts and it probably has the most stupid camera gimbal I've ever seen, fully exposed to damage. I think DJI is just tired of the Mavic Pro design (the most copied design ever in commercial drones) and they're trying maybe a bit too hard with weird designs that serve no purpose at all.
    Neo had a great design tho, it is by far the most sturdy drone I have ever flown. It is basically a disposable Avata 2. The worst part was really the software and the completely lack of support. And considering Flip is in the market and Neo Pro / Mini 5 Pro will come later this year. Yeah, you can basically forget about further support.

23. These propeller guards have a lot of resistance in the wind and it can cause crash or lost.

24. I know the flip can record sound through a mic on your phone, but no one ever mentions if the neo can do it too?

26. Hi! I was just wondering if the DJI website was for real because you can get the neo with 3 batteries and controller for only $328. The last thing is you can get a warranty on Amazon, does DJI website have that and I am missing it. Thanks again!

31. I really prefer the quality of the neo footage which is weird however the colours would be easier to grade on the flip

32. I have Neo and Mini 4…the neo is for travels but its loud af…..I'd like the flip if it makes less noise….the neo's noise draws too much attention lol

37. Neo doesn't seem to have any reason to exist imo.
    Doesn't appeal to hobbyists, they like whoops for tight spaces and fun tricks, the motion controls they sell it with for casuals will not let you do that. The flip seems to clown on it in every way otherwise. $300 gets you a whole analogue kit, or you can get away with a walksnail kit for about the same.

38. I bought the Neo w/Goggles N3 AND the Flip. So far I love them both for their own reasons. The camera on the Flip is amazing.
