  1. The battery drain when idle on my pixel 7 pro was really severe,it dropped 41% over night, dropped calls and turning off for no reason was sickening, sent it back 2 days ago

  2. Great Video as usual ๐Ÿ˜Š
Now I am on My 3rd consecutive Samsung which is S20+ and as You can imagine I am a Samsung Fan.
To Break it down what I gathered from The Review is that Samsung has the slightly better Screen but The 7Pro has a Slightly better Camera.
Long story short they are very competitive and given the serious difference in Price the 7Pro is the Unequivocal Winer.

  3. The big question my Geordie friend ๐Ÿ˜‚ is โ€œshutter speedโ€ for moving photos is it good enough ? Will it blur every photo you take of nippers and animals ๐Ÿ˜Š

  4. Eyyy tech spurt you should also try using and getting wallpapers from zedge they really have good wallpapers that can make your nose bleed like a waterfall

  5. I got my Pixel 7 Pro for half the price through my carrier for trading in my Galaxy S20 on launch week. I can't get anywhere near that good of a deal even if I wanted to switch to the S23 Ultra. The Pixel's also good enough for what I do with it for me to want to switch (basic social media/web browsing, not much gaming), so I'll stick with my Pixel.

Also helps that the Pixel actually has features that I want to use. I don't care for DeX since I have my laptop around me whenever I need it, and I tried an S-Pen before and it doesn't really do anything for me that makes me REALLY want a S23. In comparison, Call Screening alone has been saving my ass from useless calls, and Google Assistant has been way more useful than Bixby.

  6. A couple of "notes"… You can also set an alarm of sorts that will notify you if you walk out of range of your s-pen which can make it even more difficult to lose. As for Bixby, the purpose of the Samsung assistant is a little different from that of Google Assistant. Google Assistant can be used to control some aspects of your phone but it shines when asking it questions about or interacting with the world beyond. Samsung's Bixby, on the other hand, is much better at controlling Samsung apps on your phone, e.g., the camera. Which should not be taken as an endorsement of either. We might have to wait for photonic quantum processors with fully implemented error correction codes before mobile phone AI assistants become generally helpful. So I wouldn't hold my breath. Besides, by that time 20G may provide a good enough connection to just about anywhere that you won't notice if the phone offloads all your fast-action gaming computation to a server somewhere on the other side of the planet.

  7. Pixel 7 Pro promises to be a flagship level phone, in reality and in day to day use it isn't even close to flagship standard. Do yourself a favour and buy a better phone if you have other options in your price price range.

The phone gets too hot when using Google maps let alone any games, some games even crash constantly on the pixel that run fine on my old S21 Ultra. The camera is inconsistent, sometimes you get a great image but in other situations like taking a photo through a window it doesn't focus on the subject.

The phone also has WiFi/Data handshake issues, sometimes have to turn WiFi off and back on for you then to have WiFi again.

The fingerprint reader is of poor quality, despite the press releases saying that they had improved it, it is still terrible compared to the one on the S21 ultra, I had to constantly use a pass code as it didn't read my fingerprint.

The battery isn't good either, have to drop screen res and brightness to last all day with only a bit of casual gaming.

I have got so annoyed with all of the little quirks with the phone, I have bought a reconditioned S22 Ultra and have sold the Pixel 7 Pro.
