  1. I'm getting the hint I should have went with the Pixel 6. But the Pixel 5a has been a good replacement for my HTC U11 I managed to shatter the back glass and cracked the right side front glass doing some body work on my GMC Sierra. I guess sub consciously I was thinking I need a new phone on why I didn't take it out of my pants pocket when I started crawling under my truck.

I respect the S21 from Samsung is still a good phone and I will keep Samsung in mind down the road if for whatever reason I don't stay with Google Pixel phones.

  2. 6 pro is the daily driver for a lot of tech reviewers. I bought it coming from the s21u. I think it takes way better pictures up to 20x and after a week in a half I'm switching from Samsung.

  3. In regard to the Pixel 6, some people complain that it only charges at 22 watts. Yes, shame on Google for not clarifying that, but with 5 years of security updates, it is worth the trade-off. Fast charging kills batteries prematurely, and while you can have them replaced, resealing an IP68 device is not easily done.

  4. I replaced my Pixel 3XL with a Samsung S21. Big mistake. As soon as the Pixel 6 arrived, I replaced that abomination from Samsung and could not be happier. I will never buy Samsung phones again unless they drop the bloatware, give the user the ability to unlock the bootloader, and drop the OneUI skin.

  5. My biggest criteria: Drop resistance, Screen Durability, Micro-SD slot, Decent main camera. I am very clumsy with phones. Currently I'm using the Ulefone Armor 10 5G (since March) it would be perfect EXCEPT… the camera stopped zooming one day, not sure if the result of a drop or what but the main camera refuses to focus. I've tried literally every trick online. I was super disappointed because I intended to use this phone several years. I hope FairPhone is released to US markets soon, that one sounds really promising.
