12. Thanks for the alcohol tip. I found a doner phone to replace the battery in the wife's unit and successfully got to the battery on the donor without any catastrophes. But I chickened out after attempting to remove the battery as I was foreseeing a massive fire in my shop.
    The alcohol will either help or act as a accelerant on my next try.
