Maybe because i am using an iphone. but can you point me to a great camera or the ones you are using to create such crisp quality videos? i feel like i upload my videos in 4k and they look like trash on youtube. i want my videos to look like yours.

Also basically every couple seconds in a video is a keyframe, and if that doesn't change it won't lose detail.

Third party programs are capable to directly download YouTube videos. You can even choose video codecs between H.264, VP9, AV1 and audio codecs between AAC and Opus. What a time and effort waste that you didn't do this and used YouTube's 720p download option which has very bad quality.
