I actively avoid updating my phone until absolutely required
So crazy cuz all of our lives get consistently have given 5 year old products new updates and the two year contract are is over…ppl upgrade 3-5 years now idk what this narrative is lol.
I updated my battery on the iPhone 11 Pro Max about three months ago. I’ve noticed a decrease in speeds and performance since the iPhone 15 just released. I’m hard pressed in believing they still nuke your performance after each new iPhone release. Can’t change my mind.
So many idiots in the world…. No wonder there's so many problems.
What apple chose to do is make a decision with consumers being aware. Not to mention everything else they mess up.
i ain’t worrying about battery, more so every update makes the phone more laggy. iphones generally seem to perform the best on the ios version they came out with.
Don't pretend like they only did it for battery life reasons.
Apple white screened my phone with an update …. This is true for me

Dude… this is just down right not the reason people don’t update their iOS. Degraded performance happens regardless of battery, though that’s not to say the battery isn’t the culprit in some cases. Especially phones that are close to their last feature update, regardless of battery health can tank the performance. I remember ios 6 to 7 on the 4 was a nightmare.

In OnePlus every major update makes the phones laggier and with bugs that never will be fixed.
My iphone 13 pro max display turned white with ios 17 update. Seems like lot of 13 users experiences the same issue with the update!!
Im fine with updating but 100% sure the camera quality of older phones is nuked ever so slightly through all phone companies…just enough to make the new one seem even newer
Apple never care about their product go for new. Just like buying vegetables 😂😂😂😂
2027 baby, EU will bring us easy replaceable batteries
Haha sure… My 14 pro had 100% battery life the whole time and now the 15s are out and my battery status is now on 97%. Miracle.
Let's us deal with our old phones. O wait! Don't have iPhone. Thank God.
If watch makers can make watches that have the batteries easily replaceable and maintain their dust and water resistance ratings, surely apple can do it.
lie..your iphone is getting slower every time you upgrade system by adding bunch of new features that your old phone are hardly handle. and new ios even take more ram to run. so your old phone with limited RAM imidiatly get sucked
