  1. The screen has never been 'bright' one of the down falls of my LG phones including the G4 was dull screen – lets hope this one has improved LG screens have been crap.

  2. Full metal body, means if you drop it, or in normal wear, it will dent, scratch and the case cannot be replaced. Not an advantage, but a disadvantage, not to mention WiFi issues. Same with DSLR and other cameras. The shock waves are most likely to damage the camera internals than the more shock absorbing cushion of polycarbonate. What's more important is weatherproofing or water resistant shells. That's why Sony has plastic bumpers on their latest Xperia series of phones.

  3. low power consumption > Always on display > this will stop me from powering up the whole screen just to look at the time > is that really that hard to understand? it will also help you decide if that text message and email is worth it to power up the screen to open those notifications .

  4. I don't think it's that ugly, but I do hate how they gave up the volume buttons on the back and why would they remove the app drawer???!!! Waaay too iOS like imo

  5. Amazing phone ruined by a horrible skin. No app drawer? Crappy looking icons? No thanks. Besides that, the phone looks great and i'm sure it preforms great. The removeable battery feature is… unique although i'm worried the clip that holds the two pieces of the phone together may become loose with lots of usage.

  6. people raging on the g5 and the s7 is just a refurbished s6? and the first feature samsung boasted was the always on display and i was like ok so you have what the g5 announced 4h ago and everyone was cheering and stuff… the only thing i don't like as much is the 200mah reduction in battery but im still saying this is an upgrade over the g4 and g3, they are consistently changing up the phone each year not just refurbishing models, some might not like it others will but in my book the thought that went into the hardware on the g5 is very good and that modularity might mean that more amazing hardware can be added if third party accessory companies make products for it

  7. This phone is just ugly…..the s7 EDGE is the most beautiful phone I've seen….so beautiful…Currently using an LG G4 beat, will be getting an s7 EDGE or will wait for the note series which is my favorite line……but the G5 looks cheap and ugly as fuck

  8. 0.8% per hour for dislay always on… well, that means in a regular day, let's say 10hrs before you have a chance to recharge, the battery drains more then 10% for this tiny information…

  9. I don't understand people complaining about not having an app drawer, all you have to do is add a third party launcher like Nova and its fine, not a deal breaker.
