One mention of micro transactions, calling them controversial. The FUT scam needs IMO to be expanded upon in reviews like this to make it clear to the audience how they really work, how they push players towards buying packs from the grind and needs it creates with its economy system. Not this year for me, not anymore in fact, for as long as that’s in the game.

Hey IGN your editor messed up in the end. He switched the numbers, he gave it a 8.2 , but it should be 2.8 ! A Minor mistake, just fix it.
IGN and other reviewers should try and play these games on the harder difficulties. That's the only way to actually gauge how well the game play flows (and how bad the scripting is).

I already bought PES and honestly I’m regretting that decision a bit. There are plenty of things I love, but the AI is tragically flawed and Konami has gotten really lazy in terms of every aspect of the game off the pitch. FIFA always has its issues as well but at least they have sliders, and they made notable gameplay improvements this year that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed so far in the demo.
Oh well, it’s only money, right? Looks like I’m gonna have 2 footy games this year…..again.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT THOSE NEW KICKOFF MODES, or the ability to GAMBLE money away in FUT. We wanted Career Mode changes….They've mostly ripped Career Mode out over the past 5-8 years, and funneled people in FUT, where they can make more money. This game deserves a 3/10 for focusing it's marketing and game development on squeezing additional money from gamers. After 16 years, I will no longer be buying Fifa until some MAJOR changes are made.

EA should just make a football game called fifa online and give it a huge update every year. Because fifa is the same garbage every year with few or none improvements.
