  1. Pretty expensive. The Zino Pro is about the same price, little more and you are in the Xioami Fimi 8se range which is a great drone. The app on this drone looks the same as that of the JJPRO X5 and MJX Bugs 5. Good review as always. Very informative and straight to the point.

  2. Great review. Looks like a pretty nice drone. Just out of curiosity do people / companies send you these drones to review? Surely you don’t have to buy all of them!

  3. I got this as a first drone. It is fun to fly. Learning how to get the best possible footage out of it in spite of its beginner's shortcomings will be fun!

  4. Nice again !! Fortunately, you have four warm fingers left when you get home. By the way, spent a long time painting all those trees in color so beautifully? ??? Just kidding. That's how I want winter with a blue sky and bright sunshine. Have a nice day my friend and see you again next time. ?????????

  5. The controller looks identical to the one of the
    JJRC X11.
    And so does the battery.
    The difference is:
7.4 volts at 2800 mah for the Holy Stone.
7.6 volts at 3400 mah for the JJRC.
If the dimensions match, there is a great
opportunity here to upgrade the battery
    for the Holy Stone.

  6. Actually had both side by side, an HS 720 and a Bugs4w …. chose bugs, almost 200 gm heavier, bigger in comparison, bigger props, Bugs does not look like a toy drone, it’s great and responsive in the air, identical remote on both, and the charging system on the bugs is way superior (2 batteries can be charged at the same time)

  7. I'm rather surprised you didn't mention this drone's biggest con : battery charging time of 5-7 hours. During a chat with Holy Stone yesterday, was told replacement batteries would be available in two weeks. It's pretty lame a company would release a drone without extra batteries being available. But then in today's market it's all about the companies profits and to hell with the consumer.

  8. Thanks Captain for the review. I've bought a bugs 4 W after your review in June. This looks ok but I'm really impressed with the bugs 4w. The price outside U.S and Canada without coupon will be prohibitive for this kit.?

  9. Main criteria for me before I buy one of these things is lens resolution and sensor size: I need to convince myself I'm getting the best camera for the money. That said, video from the DJI Phantom(s) and the Parrot BeBop2 have been the best I've seen from your demonstrations. Most others have appeared jerky or, at least, not smooth. Wondering if it's my computer or the drone camera itself. I know there's a lot of variables and limitations to what you can present in a 15-minute video.
Beginner drones and their cameras are likely very similar in those price points. But, I gotta' ask: Which drone offers the best sensor, lens and versatility/gimbal for the beginner in the sub-$300 range?
    Thanks for your efforts.

  10. Another great review Capt, thank you. My first drone was the HS700 and it’s still my favourite so far.
    Their customer service is outstanding.
I really can’t wait until HS finally produces drones with 2/4K video and 3 axis gimbal.
On an aside, your merch section is advertising a mug as a T-shirt.
You might want to look at that b4 someone has a moan ??
    Thanks again.
