10 New KIA Cars and Company's Fully Refreshed Crossover Lineup of 2020




Just like its parent company, Hyundai, KIA is gearing up to increase the 2020 market share by introducing to the lineup new crossovers, sexier versions of mid-size cars as well as more advanced safety and driver’s assistance tech across the board. Will their plans be hindered by the public’s cautious treatment of the brand, due to the recent recalls caused by the engine damage and fire risks, or will people be mesmerized by the beautiful designs of the upcoming models, competitive performance parameters and rich technological packages? #1 2020 Kia Seltos

2020 Kia Seltos is a new global offering from the brand, that gets Kia’s bold design and technology-packed cabin. Size-wise, it is positioned between the Soul and Sportage models, but despite being a crossover, it has unmistakable SUV styling and character.

#2 2020 Kia Telluride

Available in 4 trim levels, 2020 Kia Telluride is the largest vehicle by the brand, that is designed and manufactured on the US soil. Its wheelbase measured 16.5 by 6.56 feet, allowing for a spacious cabin with a three-rows of seats and two layouts for 7 or 8 passengers.

#3 2020 Kia Stinger GTS

2020 Kia Stinger GTS is a new track-focused, drift-capable version of the model, that gets optional Dynamic-AWD with a tire-shredding drift mode. Only 800 units of the GTS will be produced.

#4 2020 Kia Sportage

2020 Kia Sportage arrives with a planned facelift, boasting updated front and rear fascias, more standard equipment, and two proved powertrain options from the previous years.

#5 2020 Kia XCeed

2020 Kia XCeed expands the brand’s Ceed family to 4 models. Built on the same platform as the 5-door Kia Ceed, the crossover is differentiated by a more prominent grille, bigger air intakes, and the company’s specific ‘ice cube’ LED lights.

#6 2020 Kia Soul

If you have always been a fan of the Soul’s boxy look, do not be alarmed as despite being built on a new platform, the fully-redesigned 2020 Kia Soul retains its unmistakable personality.

#7 2020 Kia Forte GT

After the Stinger became a smash hit within the segment of sports sedans, Kia has dared the competition once again by releasing a performance version of its compact Forte. The new GT trim features a race inspired appearance both inside and out.

#8 2021 Kia Optima

Both Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima share the same platform, but if the former sedan has received a full redesign in 2020, Optima’s turn for a generational shift is postponed till 2021. The international debut of this 4-door is anticipated to happen during one of the autoshows next year.

#9 2020 KIA HABANIRO

2020 KIA HABANIRO creates a new class of personal mobility vehicles, being the first “everything car”, that combines features of a daily commuter, SUV, and adventure automobile in one package. It has a very futuristic look with a set of stunning butterfly doors, smart cabin, and a fully electric powertrain.

#10 2021 Kia Soul EV

2020/2021 Kia Soul EV follows in its ICE sibling’s footsteps, receiving a fully-fledged refresh this year. Though in Europe, it is already available for purchase, the exact date of its arrival to the US market remains unknow, since Kia is experiencing battery supply shortages cause by the heightened demand.

#11 KIA Futuron

Kia has thrown a lot of big words in its press release for the Futuron, but in essence it is a designer’s take on the future of electric crossovers by the brand. The coupe-SUV exterior is highlighted by the sleek roofline, 360-degree bodywork, plus it explores the all-new tiger nose grille.

  1. Right vehicles wrong time. Sport cars are dead. Big SUVs are peaking because they are just. . . Big in every category. Especially prices.
    Sedan are also dead except for the Volkswagen Arteron which has hatch.

    Overall the future will be tall hatched backs.
