  1. Escalade more a box on wheels. Just like homes with 14-16 ft ceilings seem larger than really appears. Low ceilings gives a cramped feeling eventhough useable space the same as the competition. My wife drives a X5 BMW which feels like a sports car with the lower ceiling. I rented a Escalade as relatives visiting. It is almost scary to drive. I could make the brakes fade. Rotators are small compared to competitors. Horrible understeer and it felt it was ready to tip over. My wife felt uncomfortable driving it in a spirited fashion especially stopping hard at red lights. She ended up in the intersection. Not a vehicle for spirited driving or twisty roads. It’s afraid of turns! Loo😊

  2. What about the fact that it is a 7000 pound vehicle which is hugely dangerous for other people were they to get in an accident with it? That seems like a pretty big weakness. Even at low speeds, if you were to hit a pedestrian or biker, the shape and height of the front of the "car" would likely knock them over rather than make them fall on the hood like in other cars. Overall this is mostly just a truck and SUV issue all around. We americans need to get over our addiction to bigger and more dangerous vehicles.

  3. You missed something a bit more impactful in your pricing 101 analysis of cars, and that is the fact the target customers of new vehicles (almost always Americans) are in the top 0.0001% of the world. So even when low-cost alternatives exist (which you claimed aren't made as much even though you have Chevy Volt, Chevy Bolt, Nissan Leaf, and then also plug-in hybrids) they are rarely purchased – because they are not sufficient status symbols. EVs are better thought of as analogous to the smartphone market in America: the expensive options dominate because people use phones as status symbols (a la Apple), even though awesome & capable phones exist for 1/3 the price. And that's why Apple is phasing out their small phone segment — no one (relatively) wants a tiny status symbol.

  4. All the time thinking this was an autofocus video and saying in my mind "wow, that can't be a video recorded with a cellphone" just to notice that it's a main channel video

  5. Remember in the 60’s when GM basically invented the suv. We can take our already produced pickup truck, enclose it, throw a 3rd row seat in and add $15,000 to msrp

  6. What happened to the auto focus channel? Did you upload to the wrong channel? It happens lol. I put the wrong beans in the pressure cooker yesterday.

  7. It looks great, but honestly, for an expensive car, throw in a spare. I mean, c'mon. Almost every cheap car has an included spare tire. It's bizzare and insulting to the buyer to not have one for any car.

  8. I think I prefer the truck version. Even if you're a family of 5 the truck looks pretty comfortable seating wise, plus you get the gear tunnel, you can still cover your bed for storage, and then you have a whole truckbed you can use whenever you need it.

  9. Marques i have a doubt , did you shoot the video in iPhone camera or the Tesla camera that you're team made the gigantic camera like a tripod , but it looks really really great 🎉👏👏

  10. great review but I thought auto focus videos were shot on mobile devices, think I saw you use a camera in the reflections? Or are you using a lense for mobile?

  11. The wealthy makes it possible for the masses later. Remember the costs of first microwave and plasma TV’s. The wealthy willing to take risks. They understand things will not be perfect first time out.
