I woke up this morning and I thought – I miss my flip phones from the 00s, this is the perfect modern day update on those nostalgic phones back in the day. This review is great, I'm going to upgrade to this phone 😁 thanks!
Been an iphone user ever since iphone 5 and i switched from iphone 13 pro max to zflip 4 because im just tired of apple icloud, its bluetooth that only works on apple products and its limitations esp with transferring files. I have to admit my life became easier plus i use this phone too to shoot fast moving objects and that it's very compact. Battery life is good too. I love thr camera as well, it had so many features. Apple just became so boring for me. I have been having so much fun with this phone and a lot of people find it adorable they alwYs light up when they see my phone! Taking videos in public are also made easy with its flip feature , i can place it in top of anywhere and use palm recognition without having to set the timer! The efficiency with this phone cannot be compared with iphone's repetitive design. The photos from this phone are also good

currently have a z flip 4, I have had loads of problems with the screen and have no idea what is causing it, I love the phone for its amazing camera but it is not very sturdy
Warning! If you use Wireless Android Auto, the Flip 4 and Fold 4 have major issues:
My wife and I recently purchased the (very expensive) Flip 4 and Fold 4. Both of us keep our phones up to date. What we have discovered is that these phones CANNOT properly play music (Spotify or Pandora) through Wireless Android Auto. We have tested both of these phones in 3 different cars (2 BMWs and 1 Mercedes), and in ALL cases, songs skip like a bad 80s CD player between 1 to dozens of times per song.
Unfortunately, we discovered this too late, and thought, reasonably, that this could not be the fault of these flagship level phones from such a huge brand.
It's the phones. This never happened with our previous OnePlus phones.
We have tried so many things suggested in forums, including:
Re-pairing the phone to the cars
Setting unrestricted battery management on all programs involved, including Spotify, Pandora, Android Auto, and Bluetooth
Having the cars checked with local dealers for any issues with the head units
Rebooting the phones
Having described all of this to Samsung chat support, the final suggestion was to upgrade to a different, also expensive Samsung phone.
Bottom line: If you're going to buy either of these phones, and if you use Wireless Android Auto with music in the car, TEST THIS IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE, so you'll have time to return the phone for something else.

I am obsessed with the Samsung flip 4 ! I have the 256GB version purple. But the hinge started making clicking noise just after 2 weeks . Sent it to samsung thr customer service was fantastic they covered it under warranty got a email today saying it was fixed and I should get it back Monday!!!! I'm so happy cause this phone is the best phone I've ever used and I miss it alot!!!
I like this phone, but I'll definitely feel like I'll loose it.

im finally making the jump from being an apple user for over a decade since middle school… im scared but excited and know that once i get over the learning curve i’ll probably be so happy i made the switch. i’m so excited to get my z flip 4!
Ha! It only lasted 2 days, 1 drop. If it's dropped on the bend, it screws everything up and stops working and even opening/closing correctly. So sad, I really liked it otherwise.

Yo I mean this respectfully, if you get a manicure or do some nail maintenance it would make these videos just a little more clean and polished. Like I'm not coming at you but your cuticles stand out a little bit next to these pristine, brand new phones. Anyway, this video made me excited for this phone so thank you. I miss having a flip phone but since I tend to drop my phone A LOT I worry that the flip will not survive my daily life 😅 Any one out there with good or bad experience dropping this phone?

If your main downside for not getting this phone is a camera issue, let's be honest here……get a gopro. It's a phone. Crazy how that's an actual thing that people use to judge an entire phone nowadays. Guess I'm just getting old.

Why use Apple airs ?

Only thing that makes me nervous about my flip 3 is getting thin cracks along the seam. I'm upgrading to the flip 4 while it is considered a non issue but I love everything else about my flip phone.
I have just bought a new z flip 4 of eBay for £470 is this worth it. I would rather stay one year behind Samsung flagship phones because they are cheaper.
