  1. Decades ago I was a tree planter working on VI we heard a distane boom as we looked over you could see the avalanche decending down across the valley, just one for the memory box.

  2. The filmer isn't camera shy. Rather, he knows it's illegal to fly drones over a provincial park without government consent and he doesn't want to get in trouble.

  3. Shame he captured garbage, low-quality, low-framerate video with insufficient P-Frames, lots of blocks, and lots of compression artifacts @ 480p.

  4. Transport Canada will be looking for their poor guy to mail him for flying beyond line of sight among other things. They don’t care about the value of the footage or anything else. Unless you’re with the police and fly within the glide slope of the Buttonville Ont airport and collide with a Cessna. They kept that one pretty low profile and only handed out a $1000 fine to the police while arranging the incident report to make it look like the Cessna pilot wasn’t paying attention on his final approach. Typical bureaucracy.

  5. great footage!

I've never seen a video of an avalanche that looked that much like flowing water, it's usually more clumpy and tumbly looking.

  6. Are you telling me they didn’t do this intentionally! You cannot pull the wool over my eyes, this is totally done intentionally!
