  1. 30 frames locked in 2023 is simply unacceptable. 60fps has been the bottom line for years now. It is sad that a company as massive and well funded as Bethesda cant even meet the bare minimum.

  2. 30fps is because consoles are running around 9 teraflop fp32 throughput. really limiting the potential of current gen games. that and the creation engine is probably still absolutely abysmal

  3. Tons of games that use deferred rendering that provide 60fps not only on XSX, but also on PS5. This video is educational, but screams damage control by being very technical towards a userbase that doesn't understand any of this that is being said.

  4. because in spite of the long term lack of availability along with the techinical improvements from prior consoles, the ps5 and xbox series machines are half assed pc's

  5. Seems like some people have a fundamental misunderstanding of how GPU/CPU performance tend to work. GPU performance is often quite scalable, but in order to get a true generational leap, the CPU also needs to be fully utilized. That is the difference between cross gen and current gen games.
