  1. wow even the game gear sold a few million more than dreamcast although it was on the market a lot longer, the market was also a little larger presumably by the dreamcast generation

  2. If miranda sanchez could just never be on podcasts again that would be great. She sounds dumb and has such vapid opinions. So painful. Reb is a lot more sensible

  3. Geezus… What a sensitive bunch… Abhorrent reactions to a PS3 commercial? I'm sure one must tiptoe through eggshells left behind by the whiny IGN staff…

  4. After leaving the Wii off the console generation list and all of those 20 questions mishaps we need Daemon back to right the ship =) Kidding aside, Miranda was a nice addition, hopefully she does a few more episodes of gamescoop.

  5. Everyone laughing at “Microsoft trying to make themselves look feeble” to win – dude, that’s literally the legal technique required for winning this kind of case. Similar with relevant product markets – you need to make them look bigger/smaller depending on your side to win your case. It’s all on the strength of the arguements and justifications as well as the facts!
What’s not being talked about so much is the FTC fighting for Sony, when they should be arguing why the merger is bad for consumers and consumers only. It’s nothing to do with damaging business!! But also – why are they arguing for “Sony” when, if that arguement was valid, why aren’t they arguing for the rest of the market: Nintendo, Steamdeck, NVidia’s thing…! When did the FTC become Sony’s lawyer?! And all of Jim Ryan’s lies?!

  6. Wild that in a conversation about the absurdity of Nintendo being left out of the console conversation the Wii was skipped over in that generation's sales comparison. Wii "won" over ps3/360 from the perspective of highest units sell through

  7. A little less energy not having Daemon but still thoroughly enjoyable, the trial stuff was great and understand why it took up the entire episode. Sam going soft on 20 questions- yes

  8. Luigi's mansion was great, look forward to another.
Don't agree with not doing another or feeling like it was a mistake to do a sequel.

  9. Enjoyed the console war statistics section. But surprised the panel didn’t look at the US market specifically as those numbers make things more clear — particularly with 360vsPs3.

  10. Hope the huge corporate merger gets stopped. It does not bode well for the industry to have one company using money instead of quality products to dominate the market. Imagine if MS spend that money on creating more game studios, they would be creating new jobs and making new games for xbox gamers. Instead, by buying publishers they are not bringing anything new to xbox, but simply taking it away from their competitor.

  11. Less than 10 minutes in the podcast and you hear "not many people played Luigi's Mansion"… man LM3 is on the top 20 best sellers of Switch. Please make sure you know what you are saying in a podcast as influential as this
