  7. I see a lot of things I like however, I don't see any notations of what they are called. This will make it difficult for me to order it or not look stupid if I go to the tool store to ask for one of these items. For those of us that are new to this field and have no formal training, it would be great if you had a description box or notations on the screen that denote what the tool is or what procedure you are trying to accomplish. Whether that be finding center of an object or making a six sided sign. I like the "table top drill mount" that you show at 7:21 during this video and can only guess that, that may be what it is called.

  22. As a life long tradesman I say there are a few attachments here that should never be used if you like your fingers, skin teeth and eyes.
    Seen some of these disintergrate, catch clothing and wreck havoc, take out teeth and eyes. Stay away from the obvious scary ones.

  24. I was a metal worker. So I use grinders quite a lot. I've seen discs explode, (quite regularly) I've seen people catch loose clothing in them and the grinder has climbed up them and hit them square in the teeth. I've had it happen to me and luckily my tshirt jammed it up just below my neck.

    I've seen all kinds of accidents with them. Even a fine disc can chew flesh up VERY quickly.

    I just would never use a grinder without anything but 100% respect. As manufacturer intended.

    Edit: it's cool to read the working men of the world in agreement with regards to safety, because I know it comes from experience and respect for yourself, your trade and tools. Also, it's nice to have a shared experience and respect with people in the trade from round the globe.

  27. Holy shit, please use the guard on your grinder. Especially with those wood blades. Metal blades will cut you but those wood blades will take a chunk out or pull you in to it

  29. 4:50 That is a metal cut off disc…never use them for grinding, they are too thin to take side loading. Also avoid twisting the disc in a cut..it could pinch and shatter.

  30. the disk for Pierre at Time 11.40min I strongly advise against it because because of its enormous weight it wears out the motor of your X3 speed grinder, it's up to you
