10. When I was very young, my mother taught me how to drift a vehicle. She had no idea that’s what she was doing. We go on long trips, and she would start to talk about different things with cars. Usually something would trigger it, such as some punk, trying to pull a maneuver poorly. She would explain what he did wrong, and how to do it, right. Years later, I would put this knowledge to the test. First on ice, in a Volkswagen beetle. Later, in a 59 bugeye sprite. Now, because I have not use these skills, I do not remember them very well. In fact, I don’t know if I would be able to drift a vehicle. I know you cannot do it with an automatic, or one that has those weird controls that are to prevent you losing control. In my case, I found this out the hard way. I tried to do a maneuver, and my car refused to do it, and I ended up losing control. I figured it out and I turned off (thankfully, there was a turn off switch) and I tried again, this time I succeeded. Since I was a lot older, I did not do anything radical just a little bit to see if I could remember how to do certain things. I do not believe I executed the maneuver correctly, because I was a little bit timid.
