  1. I have broken one phone. It was an old plastic flip phone with a full keyboard. I was playing tennis and one day and it fell out of my pocket and broke in half lol. After that I got my first Android smartphone, the Samsung Moment.

  2. The Note 10+ that I am using to write this comment is broken from back. I always use a case and screen protector. My phone slipped and dropped (about two years ago) on an uneven driveway and shattered from a corner; luckily it still works.

  3. I always use a case on my phone but the worse experience I had is with my galaxy fold 4 I started having a problem with my fold not being able to fully open and I feel a knot on the upper part of the inner screen which create small crack like line in the middle of the inner screen and on the next morning the crack spread from the bottom to the top and the inner screen stop responding but even the inner screen is broke it still respond good to the s pen.

  4. I always have cases on my phones over the years, but last year I was helping my mother in law move on a rainy day and when I went to get out of the U-Haul truck, I slipped on the painted door sill, and my phone fell out on the concrete curb with the screen up. It broke my fall with my elbow going full force on the middle of the screen and I was uninjured because of it! It was a Motorola One Hyper and it still worked tethered to my bluetooth in the car!

  5. oh boy… the first phone I broke was my mom's because my sister and I were fighting over, both of us wanted to show a video to a friend. Both pulled the flip phone and so it broke. It was an old Samsung in 2011.

  6. Haven't broken a phone since the iPhone 3G, which I cracked on Christmas day. Since then I've always used a case and haven't had any huge drops.

  7. I use redmi note 10 Pro Max for past 2 years and i dropped it several times that damages my tempered glass . Screen has no scratches at all… I always use case for my phone because it's so slippery….

  8. I always use a case, but I had shuttered the back glass of my previous phone, a Galaxy S7, replacing its battery, apparently my hair drier was not powerful enough to soften the adhesive and the glass broke when I tried to open it, I continued using it with the glass broken for 3 more years, since the crack was under the case, no one ever noticed it was there. When I sold it, the new owner didn't remove the case when he check the phone, and after 5 months he contacted me and told me that he has removed the case to clean the phone and found the glass broken, I told him that I haven't removed the case since I bought that case, and he replied to me: "with the amount of dust that was under the case I believe you"… I hope he does not read this comment haha

  9. Hot potato with an iPhone 7 because I thought it was unbreakable, it never broke nor scratched with very high impact drops. But just before I was about to trade it to a 13, the entire screen shattered

  10. I was skeptical about this video but it was really good! Sorry lol wont happened again!😂

I currently have the Note 10+, ive always had cases on my phones but i have broken one in the most happy almost embarrassing way. I was working at Cedar Point and i was walking to the brake area. It was lightly rain and i went to open the locker with my bag in it, its a big melt box ( its really similar to how a deep freezer is and opens ). I had my phone in my pocket and went to pull up the door… well it slipped and flung open and falling back down.. well with the entire weight of this metal lid landed on my phone in my pocket (bout .5 for being pantsed infront of ALOT of people.😂😂) but thankfully unfortunately my phone stopped it and just had the slightest bend lol like a banana.😂 still works to this day screens shattered tho🥲 i loved that phone whats why i have the Notes

  11. @MarkRober please use the loo before recording! lol

That being said i just had received my new S9 and i was waiting for it to do it's thing setting up, like a Virgin Mary but i needed a wee. I had also just started wearing my hubby's very comfortable cardigan, with pockets.

Me being like "Men's pockets rule right on clothes" and yeah, it swiftly landed in apple cider and rose water! Knowing that my farts smelt likes roses, i didn't want it to have too much of that sweet perfume, i picked it up like that kid after the bendy slide move.

In a "This house is blessed" moment, i cleaned it off, dried it, placed a case on it in it's glory and screen protector and it was ok.

I now wear Men's track suit bottom's in the house because "Men's pockets rule right on clothes"!

As for the screen protectors from Amazon – They are now poopy pants.

As for the S9 now – mine is always complaining about the lack of storage but it's mainly hidden system cache outside of normal cleaners. On another S9 it claims moisture in the charging point. It's almost like they want you to upgrade at this point…

What i have found is how much control Google has on your phone and how it influences system activities more so than Galaxy.

Bixsby is just as annoying as Bing, Edge and Xbox. I remember learning about this word but never thought i would have to use it but some of these apps are like chugnuts. Clingons affecting the use of tech.

I would be more worried about the dark side of smartphones tbh, than it's physical components, just like with a lot of electrical devices being lockdown.

You use to be able to build cars and tech but the manufacturers have locked it all down – "due to electrical components". AKA spent money for simple fixes.

I want my phone to survive a swim as i do my car, without catching on fire. It's just like the medical Industry.

Ask yourself how many broken smartphones and cars get exported to different African and Asian countries?

Then ask your self why did your phones get hacked?

  12. I have owned every iPhone except about 3 of them. I’ve never used cases. I broke the back glass on my 4. That’s it. To be fair my stainless steel frame on my 14Pro has a pretty decent dent in it above the ear speaker , but it’s not broken.

  13. I used to installed mini suction cup which called gurita in my language (or octopus in english cause it does looks like octopus tentacles) on my phone case. purpose of this thing is to stick the phone to any flat surface, and i use it to stick my phone to my motorcycle speedometer. and this one time i drove my motorcycle on a bad pavement and my phone flew and landing on the ground with my case still intact to my motorcycle 😂
    full shattered screen.

  14. Just for the record, i've broken four iphones since i've had them i've boken the 6s, 10r, 12 and the 13 pro. and i broke them all on purpose to . And the only reason was because I hate apple.

  15. I don't use case because it's 6 year old phone and dropped it without case several times and 1st drop on the wooden floor cracks the screen and 2nd drop is on the tile floor which cracks the backside, after that drops made cracks bigger and I still using it as of today with cracks and phone is doing good except battery, it lasts like 5-6 hours with full charge.

  16. Breaking phones are a now and then a regular thing, the only difference is between the range of phones as a totally normal human won't buy a 1000+ phone but still when that below 500 phone breaks it still affects a lot for that moment but then rather to repair one finds a good reason to either go for a new device or just keeps the way it is if it is still able to make a call etc.

  17. No Indian, So called Tech youtuber. I know most of them changes their device frequently & they maybe biased towards the brand. Still I was hoping for a collabration with Indian youtuber.
Anyways It's a good one. Keep it up.

  18. This type of videos are very cool Zack. I had a very similar event just like yours. The curved screen of the OnePlus 8 Pro man, it fell face down and man, the drop was not high on a concrete but the damage was brutal. I had a case too.

  19. S10 Plus .. 2 days before i upgraded to the S20 Ultra, It felt out of my pocket at hit the gutter & Yes it had a case, & liquid Glass screen protector but the impact was too much for the phone it cracked along the edge seperating the Digitizer from the glass … It was Toast… My buddy used Samsung Dex to transfer the data to the s20 ultra.. but I lost out on $150 trade in credit .. they were going to offer me $300 off & because i dropped it I was getting $0 .. so i paid the $150 to fix the screen & then used it as a Trade.. Was a Rough 2 weeks.

  20. Haven't broken a phone by accidental drop or otherwise as much as I can remember.
But thinking about it it's amazing how that hasn't happened since I work in a kinda off industrial sector. I used to use industrial/rugged grade cases (Otterbox) but as phones got bigger and prettier I switched light and transparent cases, they still do the work. Lately I have switched to no screen protector as screens have also become more scratch resistant.

When traveling though I do try to use privacy screen protectors for when I am on a plane, only if I have one laying around.
