  3. Why do we need thin bezels? They just make the screen easier to break when/if it drops, makes it harded to get a good case without covering the touch screen edges etc. Give me a phone with bezels that is durable please.

  4. So much is left out of this review. And It's funny that until just before this phone was released, Pixel 8 Pro was $200 off. That means getting 95% of what this phone is offering at $500 less. A 40% lower price. Plus the software is still no match for Pixel's. It's not just call screening.

    It's the way the whole thing works. No redundant apps. Copy text in apps that don't let you copy it (like YouTube) by simply bringing up the app overview that shows you each app running. From there, you can select any text to copy or even translate it. And the Google password manager that saves your passwords works across Chrome browsers on any phone (Android or iPhone), Windows, Mac, Chromebook, but also any app on your pixel phone pixel phone. Just about the only password you ever have to remember is your actual Google account password. On a Samsung phone you have to use the Samsung password manager for apps that is not nearly as intuitive and only works on Samsung devices with the One UI Android skin.

    But the fact that Google collaborates with Samsung to bring new features to Galaxy devices before Pixels, shows the reality that Google never expects Pixels to be mainstream phones. I'm okay with that. As long as they keep making Pixel phones and keep making them great.

  8. I have a similar feature to circle search on my Pixel 5; go to recent apps, and hold down on the text or image in the recent app preview. Then it gives the option to copy the text and/or google lens the image or text.

  18. I'm a radical "software person" and I will not accept anything other than stock Android. I absolutely love the S24U hardware but the Samsung bloat is a deal breaker for me.

  28. Not for me. I had s21 before, the touch sampling rate is as bad as it can get. Bought Oneplus 11, which is good in every way possible except for the curved display, which I hated on and still do.
    Lastly, I would say that touch sampling rate matters in FPS games like codm. Now that I have rm 9 pro, everything is smoother than ever.

  34. I love your videos because you are real about everything. I use iPhone mainly, because it is a go to phone when you want simple things done immediately without any other stuff bothering you, but I do use other OS devices too for different jobs I do, and one thing that really bothers me is when people argue about "the camera"… I can't understand why the hell people still argue about it when they only use the phone for social networks, on which, whatever phone you take the photo with, it will be converted to the low quality compressed photo and it will always be crappy when uploaded. Now, for sure it is useful for photographers that need good camera, but again, if they want to share the photo with others, it again and again looses the quality, which always leads to the same, and that is why I love Apple, they are real about many stuff, they don't go crazy on numbers and upgrades, because they know that it is useless to step up when other services that you use are not stepping up, it is the same as you said "do you really want "those" extra frames, that bad ?" when comparing this phone with gaming phones.

  37. "Why buy any other phone?" Because this shit design is way too big for normal people to use. It's literally like a laptop and you'll need to sit down when you're using it. Furthermore, if you slap a case on it you'll make it a full fucking gaming PC.

  44. when the hell is samsung gonna get rid of that ugly ass hole in the screen?! the technology has been there for like 4 years now! i will NEVER spend $1300 on a phone with that hole punch garbage!

    i can't believe people just accepted that nonsense.

  45. Why does almost not a single YouTuber talk about the screen that just isn't good at the moment. the colors are all washed out, there is something really wrong with One UI 6.1. The colors are not vivid at all like with other Samsung Phones.
