  1. Fortunately, there are still really good people on this earth, who help each other after a fire tragedy.
thanks to the donors and these people who brought the items to him.

    greetings from the Netherlands

  2. This must have been such an amazing thing to see as a parent. Seeing all those "online Friends" become real right in front of his eyes. I don't know if his father was aware of that before already, but I'm sure many parents don't "believed in YouTube friends" back then. <3

  3. I find it incredibly touching and wholesome that humans always unite when tragedy strikes. Sure, we get together for celebrations, events, etc., but, ironically, nothing brings us together like a bad thing happening. It's like we have a built in urge to help others in our DNA, and I find that really nice to think about when a lot of humanity is seen as hateful and cynical.

  4. Re-watching this after Austin's retrospective. As he said, time moves on, and it's crazy that so many of these creators who helped him out aren't really around anymore, at least not in a major way.

  5. I had to come back and watch this 9 years later, it’s really obvious Austin is an awesome dude and didn’t deserve losing almost everything, and the fact that community members cared enough to contribute to helping is amazing
