I certainly want to continue seeing VR related videos on this channel. I think there are a lot of unique applications that could be used to improve existing VR techniques, and I enjoy all of the content you put out here.
There's a lot of confusion in VR. So far the best application and use of the VR is to do with the controllers, not the headset.
VR will have its uses, but I struggle to see it become mainstream, though the controllers are phenomenal.
I think this will introduce at least a slight increase in motion sickness. Because the movement that your body makes is not exactly the same as what your eyes see happening. Would love to know if this is the case.
whats the point in using your own body to walk ni a virtual world, this is really dumb. Find a way to control the virtual walk with a brain wave sensor instead. Adding distortion to an environment to not bump into your room walls is a solution ? lool.
I think this awesome for learning, designing stuff, having your own virtual home and desktop, visiting the world virtually, and visiting the solar system and galaxy
How about using a treadmill?
I want to see it with them looking straight ahead. I feel like all the looking around covers up the visual effect.
Also I fear this would negatively impact my ability to preform in real life sobriety tests.
But how about that nice treadmill from Ready Player One?
I can't wait to try VR one day.
It should be seriously tested that this won't mess up people's (children) ability to navigate in the real world. ^_^
I wonder if this trick can be used fix the problem of motion sickness from acceleration.
Where is the Lieutenant broccoli? probably down in the holodeck
I don't understand how this works, can someone explain it to me like I'm a child?
give it 5 years and imagine how good it'll be..
How would u climb a staircase in VR?
This is exciting. I imagine it's also funny to watch people play with this — they'll be going in circles, no?
VR is one of these areas where the hype has seemed to die down – I hope this sort of technology can get people excited about it again. So much potential
