Holding Back For Added Race Pressure

Today we’re heading to the local Detroit Drone Racing event, but with a twist. After winning every local heads up race this season, and earning top qualifier at all races except for the Mid-America qualifier, I decided to try a new technique of waiting on the line to try to simulate race pressure and to prepare for the MultiGP Global Championships in Daytona Florida! Let’s see how it works out!

  1. This is a great idea!!! To practice some of this daily pressure I also like simming while playing a past FPV race in the background. Can hear the announcer's voice and try to learn to tune that out.

  2. Handicap Racing! We tried this in our chapter as well. We stagger started everyone in mains based on their 3-lap time difference. Made for some interesting finishes! Some guys were getting 20 second head starts

  3. Lol I love the offset. Winner’s bracket- “3… 2… 1… go!” Chase the Ace- “321GO!” ?? glad you see you still finding ways to push!
P.S. love the DVR. MY PowerPlay is coming on Friday and I’m floored.

  4. Hi jay am i the only who destroyed all floss 3l arms after week of racing? They all delaminate in area where they are held by the aluminium plate and start to wiggle. Did this happen to you?
I think the channels should be few mm's deeper
