On the transition note, you do realise that you don’t actually have to be flying the drone to use its sensor. I know it would be a bit clunky, but it wouldn’t be prohibitive!!!
You should have mounted the GoPro to the top. Then you can still utilize the Mavic air camera to see what is in frame

Umm why not mount it on top of the drone, with an extention to clear the rotors. That way can utiize the normal camera for flying, can also mount it closer to the centre for better weight distribution
Up to how much windpeed it can tolerate, without affecting its good balance?…Cheers!
