1. Lol typical "hipster" vibes, praising a game thats clearly unpolished and is clearly lacking as per the standards of games in 2023 just because its an AEW brand. If WWE or even 2k released something like this yall would be shitting on it big time, people in this comment section are laughable.

4. I’m having trouble with the game play. Especially finishers. I still haven’t found out how to do a finisher and I’m not used to the kick out system at all

6. I played it today, I liked it but it has no longevity in my opinion. It does get boring very quickly. It's not a deep or as interesting as WWE 2k23. The graphics are jarring at times but the movement is very good. The most telling thing is that this game has taken years to be in this state so wouldn't expect it to get any better any time soon. I'd say a honest 5/10 is fair.

8. My only issue with this game is it just doesn't look finished. The skateboard stuff looks bad. Some characters look messy. But it should be a fun game for some.

11. This game feels like the foundation. A canvas (no pun intended) to build upon. I expect there to be updates, patches, additional wrestlers and more in the coming months. A solid start.

13. Love this game. It's one of those games that when I finish playing and move to something else, it's staying installed just so I can play one or two games after i've say finished Warzone or something.

    The only criticism I have, is we need more on the roster. Maybe even an added DLC for after "Road to Elite" – similar to how Pokemon did it with Sword and Shield.

14. I'm not sure why more people aren't disappointed by this game. It should be like the N64 titles, only modernized and not held back by late 90's hardware. Instead, it's like the N64 titles with no modernization at all. Graphics look no better then late era PS2 for the most part, the limit of only 4 guys in the ring is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable in this day and age, create a wrestler is outdated by over 20 years, and the amount of content is too. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun with it regardless, but I honestly don't know what the hell they were thinking.

The creation is terrible you can’t combine nothing in there I can’t have knee pads on with boots ..you can only change 1 color on the clothing like come on you walking in as a default character that kills the mood but the game definitely fun they fix that add more matches for tag team and THEN WWE2K IN A RUN FOR ITS MONEY

17. In all honesty I do like the game, but since the fact that the copy I got is glitched and I can only playing aews story mode free mulch kills all the momentum of the game, without exhibition mode that's the only half the game going right there

24. I think aew and thq just put the game out for us die hard marks. But I feel they're are working on the bigger version of the game giving them a full year to put it our giving them more time to fully work on the game. Watch next game will have full entrances for us to control the cams and pyros for a full entrance is going to be amazing

I'm glad Gamestop gave me a refund,my friend got it early and after seeing no big entrances,no commentary,alot of current roster wrestlers missing,clunky game play like very difficult to do kickouts and really bad create a player. Ended up buying WWE2k23 for 40 bucks and it's better by miles than this waste of money. Bad review,you are being way too nice and sugarcoating alot 👎👎

30. Define Irony. They hit finishers and spam them in real life and can’t win a match. Hit one finisher from Yuks Sakazaki and you’re deader than Foley off the cage:

31. This game is very fun. It has a lot of weapons, an exploding barb wire match, and a lot of blood if hit with barb wire weapons.

    The simple controls and short matches make it easy to pick up and play.

    I even somehow rode a skateboard after I pulled it from the crowd. A tire, barb wire bat, and many other weapons can be pulled from the crowd and from beneath the ring.

32. The game is buggy and the creation suite is bad stop being a fan boy and tell the truth. It’s fun but buggy and barebones the story mode is bad also not worth the price tag wait for a sale

33. I get being excited for another wrestling game option but the graphics are 💩. For a full priced ps5 game its not worth it, you can get 2k23 cheaper and unless you're a die hard aew fan, youd probably be better off just getting 2k23. 2k23 has a enough different play options to last till 2k24, can fight forever say the same, or you gonna just get burnt out on it in a couple months?

36. If this game is 100% going the GTA V route, I'm interested to see how it grows as time passes.
    There are definitely things missing from here but The AKI part looks like its there.

37. The blood in this game reminds me of All-Star Pro-Wrestling 3 by Square-Enix on PS2

39. The more I see of this game, the worse it looks, and I have absolutely zero desire to play it. Looks like absolute crap, the minigames are so stupid, and the storyline is so disjointed it makes no sense.

42. It's crazy how WWF smackdown just bring it was the last game to have 8 wrestlers in at the same time. Only having 4 is disappointing.

43. Even with all the bad stuff about this game it's super fun! So worth it
