  1. Never upgrade every year… wait 2-3 years always. Its just a CPU update you will never notice.
    If you have to try other brands Sony XZ2 isnt bad if you can find it cheaper. Otherwise stick with S8.

  2. I love Samsung and all no hate but I think this phone is just Samsung s8.1

    There was slight changes not huge ones
    Still this phone can be an outbreak because of the camera

    Sorry for my bad English

  3. It's virtually identical to the S8. The only differences are:

    * It's heavier
    * It has a 0.5 GHz CPU improvement
    * It has stereo sound
    * The screen corners are more rounded (not an improvement)
    * The camera on the back's been moved

    It has the worst Galaxy release ever. It's as if they couldn't be bothered this year.

  4. So basically the only difference to the S8 camera is a little better? Is it just me or have smart phones sort of started to stagnate, with these companies releasing the same thing year after year. I have an S6 and while this is certainly a nice phone, and if I was in the market for a new phone would be on the shortlist, it doesn't make me want to upgrade for a "new toy", This will be the 3rd generation since the S6 came out, and I still see very little to make me want to upgrade. It's just another rectangle with a big screen, running all the same software as all the others. With the way they are these last few years, the only thing that's making me want to change phones is my battery life is now rubbish, and I can't change it without completely disassembling, and almost certainly breaking my phone in the process. So really until my S6 breaks entirely, or gets to the point where the battery life is so bad its pointless or it stops getting security updates I'll just stick with what I have.
