  1. Still using the Pixel 4a 5g in 2024, and after a quick comparison with the 8a, I can say I can comfortably wait till a 10a (or whatever it'll be called) 😅

  2. The fact that the bezels are so thick whilst not even being symmetrical drives me insane. at $499 they should either be slimmer all around, or at the very least, be even all the way around. Never thought i'd see a phone with iphone XR bezels retail for this price 6 years after the release of the XR

  3. My wife returned her pixel 8 and bought an iPhone. The camera's picture quality wasn't satisfactory (felt it was much better than my s23), network was troublesome at times etc. Even though the software looked and felt slick and modern…I felt My Samsung S23 to be better alrounder. Maybe Samsung making phones for suchba long time shows when comparing. Point is….try different options. Sometimes, reviews aren't the only reliable source for making purchase decisions.

  4. Pixel 8a versus Pixel 8 – my opinion?
"Hello sir welcome to [Insert favourite coffee house brand] what would you like? A flat white? Would you like to go up in size for just an additional [Insert local currency]?"

  5. Google are crafty. So in the UK, they will offer £220 trade in for a 4a if you're buying an 8a. But if you try and buy the 8 instead of the 8a the trade in is suddenly £140. So the upgrade cost suddenly rockets.

  6. Pixels are overpriced you can get more for your money elsewhere. A lot more. Crappy construction and low quality hardware. The only bright spots on a Pixel phone is the camera, and lack of bloatware.
